For the Living Gallery website I wanted to have a small logo for a long time, something with a mountain or so. But since I’m neither good at drawing nor designing, all attempts remained fruitless on the hard disk. By the appearance of many artificial intelligences, which can also create images, I had the idea to try it with an AI.
Für die Living-Gallery-Webseite wollte ich schon länger ein kleines Logo haben, irgendetwas mit einem Berg oder so. Da ich aber weder gut zeichnen noch designen kann, blieben bisher alle Versuche erfolglos auf der Festplatte liegen. Durch das aufpoppen der vielen Künstlichen Intelligenzen, die auch Bilder erzeugen können, kam mir die Idee es doch mal mit einer KI zu versuchen.
On friday, 27. June 2018, I took the opportunity and photographed a lunar eclipse (red moon) for the first time in my life. The occasion was not least the longest lunar eclipse in this century and Mars, Saturn, Jupiter and the ISS were also visible in the night sky.
Am Freitag, 27.07.2018, hatte ich zum ersten mal die Gelegenheit genutzt und eine Mondfinsternis fotografiert. Der Anlass war ja nicht zuletzt die längste Mondfinsternis in diesem Jahrhundert und Mars, Saturn, Jupiter sowie die ISS waren auch noch am Nachthimmel sichtbar.

Die aktuelle Ausgabe des britischen Print- und E-Magazins Practical Photography enthält einen sechs Seiten langen Feature Artikel über mich und meine Arbeiten. Der Titel des Artikels lautet “Love Of The Land” – soviel wie “Liebe zum Land” und beschreibt wie und warum die Landschaftsfotografie ein sehr wichtiger Teil meines Lebens ist.
