Tongue of Moiry

We had actually only planned to photograph the Ferpècle glacier in the side valley. By chance, however, we became aware of the Moiry Glacier and so, one day later, we set off on the rather challenging hike to the Cabane de Moiry. What a view! When the sun was already behind the mountains, I flew the drone directly over the glacier to capture the spectacular scene with the glacier tongue, which would not have been possible without the drone.
